No. This shampoo doesn’t contain sulfate. Shampoos that do not contain sulfate in the formulation tend to clean more smoothly. It is worth remembering that, unlike the conventional, it does not foam during washing - which, at first, can cause some strangeness. But keep in mind that it cleans just right! Because curly hair tends to be drier, sulfate free shampoos are good for this type of hair.
