We are living one of the biggest crises we can think of in recent times. What if we take this opportunity to rethink the way we produce and consume? In a way that cares for the planet, with a more positive impact?
Our concern about trash as an environmental problem requiring urgent intervention is not recent. In 1983, we were the first Brazilian cosmetics company to offer refills for our products.
The choice of this type of packaging avoids the disposal of 1,600 tons of waste per year. Another environmental benefit is that the production of refills results in 4,300 tons less greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere, the equivalent to going around the Earth by car 770 times.
Refills: a way to conscious consumption
We invite you to join the movement and to prioritize this kind of packaging. And what is the benefit of this habit? It decreases the disposal of plastic on the planet.
To help you to consume more consciously, we have a wide range of products with refills – from skincare to perfumery. In 1983, we became the first Brazilian cosmetics company to offer this option.
In perfumery, for example, we pioneered the launch of refills. The packs are made from 100% recycled plastic, which reduces disposal by the equivalent of 5 million PET bottles per year.
Do you want more conscious consumption? The Mamãe and Bebê products, our line designed for moms and their babies, have sachet refills, a type of pack that has 85% less plastic than regular ones. Additionally, most of our skincare products offer refills as an alternative to regular packaging.
Changing regular packaging for refills is a step towards a world with more beauty and less waste. Join the movement by choosing refills.
